The Med Group, Lubbock, Texas, has added several new independent purchasing members. They are: Valley Medical Solutions, El Reno, Okla.; Leanna Felix of St. Joseph Durable Medical Equipment, Ponca City, Okla.; and Brian Ford of MedStar Health Medical Services, Elkridge, Md.

In other news, The Med Group signed a partnership agreement with bCandid Corp., Boulder, Colo., in which bCandid will provide e-business technology to automate The Med Group's members and facilitate the exchange of information throughout the organization's trading community.
