Health Cor Sells Four More Locations
Dallas On the heels of the July sale of 55 HME locations, HealthCor Holdings has sold four Arkansas home nursing offices to Addus HealthCare, Little Rock, Ark.
Sale of the offices-which are located in Little Rock, Lowell, Hot Springs and Fort Smith-drops HealthCor's total number of sites to 12, including eight pharmacy/infusion, three home nursing and one home medical equipment, officials said.
The company has been divesting portions of its business after running into financial difficulties in early 1998, when it was hard hit by changes in home health reimbursement. In March 1998, HealthCor announced it was considering merger or acquisition possibilities. At that time, it had 78 locations in nine states.
