Allegro Home Health Care Supplies, Scottsdale, Ariz., released its newly designed Web site (www.goallegro.com), which includes a "configurator" so customers can customize such products as wheelchairs, scooters and lift chairs. Seat width and depth, arm style, wheel size and frame color are among the features that can be customized, officials said. Other key features on the Web site include a checkout chat window for customers to ask last-minute questions about their orders, free electronic catalogs and expanded content, officials said. In addition to mobility products and wheelchairs, the Web site also sells a variety of home health devices and medical supplies.

Homecare Products, Kent, Wash., opened new distribution centers in Greenbrook, N.J., and Sheldon, Iowa. With the addition of the new centers, the company says it can deliver its portable wheelchair ramps in three days or less anywhere in the United States.
