Business Issues, Current Events On the Conference Schedule at 2004 Show
Meet the Experts Each Day with HomeCare
Along with the thousands of new products that will be on display, providers can find out the latest on the home medical equipment industry's challenges and changes at 180 educational sessions during Medtrade 2004. With a concentration on current topics, this year's conference program will focus on changing regulations, reimbursement issues and other business conditions that will affect home care companies.
If you want to improve your HME's business practices, then come “Meet the Experts” with HomeCare at a panel series sponsored by the magazine each morning of the show from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Providers will hear best practices in reimbursement, sales and marketing, and legal and regulatory issues from industry experts in these areas, many of them HomeCare's columnists and Editorial Advisory Board members.
“These ‘Best Practices’ panels will bring together the top experts in HME to share their insights, discuss current issues and field questions so attendees can learn the latest trends and cutting-edge solutions,” according to Jack Evans of Global Media Marketing.
“Meet the HME Experts in Reimbursement” will discuss reimbursement strategies that work with HIPAA, Medicare audits and fraud and abuse issues. Moderated by Bruce Brothis of Alternative Billing Solutions, the panel includes HomeCare columnists Jane Bunch of JB&CS and Miriam Lieber of Lieber Consulting, along with Maureen Hanna of Healthcare Reimbursement Consultants.
