Millennium Purchases Brooklyn HME Company
Livingston, N.J. Millennium HomeCare has acquired Kenmar Surgical and Oxygen, a home medical equipment and oxygen company based in Brooklyn, N.Y. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
Michael Garippa, chief executive officer and chairman, said Millennium's extensive managed care contracts and wider scope of clinical services should bolster Kenmar's size and profit contribution in the next year. The acquired company records about $2.5 million in annual revenue.
It the fourth acquisition for year-old Millennium, and more are in the works in the Chicago and Boston markets, officials said. -S.H.
