Alexandria, Va.

The American Association for Homecare has named David Williams executive director of its Re/hab Technology Council and Rita Hostak co-chair of the council.

Williams, director of government relations for Elyria, Ohio-based Invacare, has more than 20 years' experience in health care policy.

Hostak, vice president of government relations for Carlsbad, Calif.-based Sunrise Medical, brings more than 18 years of health care industry experience to the position.

In other news, Shelagh Foster has been named AAHomecare's new director of regulatory affairs. Foster will focus on regulatory issues pertaining to home health care and home medical equipment, including the prospective payment system, competitive bidding demonstration projects, supplier standards, average wholesale pricing, ergonomics and inherent reasonableness.
