Chad to Test Sleep Products
Feb 18, 2005 11:33 AM
CHATSWORTH, Calif.--Respiratory equipment manufacturer Chad Therapeutics has announced it will begin testing its initial products for the sleep-disorder market within the coming weeks.
According to company President and CEO Earl Yager, the company is "making progress with the initial products we are developing for the sleep-disorder market and with our evaluation of alternative distribution models for these new products. We plan to conduct the first formal clinical trial on these products in the next few weeks, and the results of this test should allow us to move forward with our distribution options."
Yager made the announcement as part of the company's quarterly earnings summary, released last week. For the company's third quarter, which ended Dec. 31, Chad reported a 23 percent rise in revenue, to $6.4 million, from prior-year results. Net earnings for the quarter increased 21 percent to $505,000.
