WATERLOO, Iowa— VGM & Associates announced that Dave Lyman has been promoted to executive vice president (EVP). In his new role, Lyman will focus on leading and growing VGM membership communities, as well as leading VGM’s sales, business development, contracting and marketing teams.
Lyman has more than 25 years of experience in the durable medical equipment (DME) industry. Lyman started his career as a respiratory therapist (RT) at the Cleveland Clinic. Lyman most recently served as SVP of sales for VGM & Associates, where he led VGM’s member success team. He also serves on multiple committees dedicated to patient outcomes and care, including co-chair for the education committee for OAMES and the American Association for Homecare Respiratory focus group.
"For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with VGM members, vendor partners and fellow employee owners to forge meaningful relationships and establish successful business partnerships,” said Lyman. “I look forward to continue growing and retaining our membership groups, as well as keeping VGM & Associates at the forefront of the industry.”
Lyman's experience as an RT, coupled with his knowledge of clinical operations, billing, management and sales in the DME industry, has been instrumental in overseeing several of VGM’s programs, the company said in a press release.
“We are beyond excited to have Dave appointed to this new role at VGM,” says Lindy Tentinger, president, VGM & Associates. “Dave has consistently demonstrated the ability to be an engaging business and sales leader who builds important relationships with our members and vendor partners while also meeting our business objectives. His skill set and experience are critical to enhancing the post-acute homecare industry as a whole.”
