WATERLOO, Iowa—VGM Fulfillment, a VGM Group Inc. company, announced Peter Martin will serve as president beginning Jan. 15. Martin will also join VGM Group’s team of senior leaders.
Since 2012, Pete has served on the leadership team at Target Corp, most recently as group vice president – food supply chain, where he was responsible for all aspects of Target's $10 billion food and beverage supply chain operations across the United States. He holds a BSE in mechanical engineering from Arkansas State University, an MBA from Missouri State University and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
“Through an extensive interview process, Pete stood out as an incredible addition to VGM,” said VGM Group CEO Jeremy Stolz, who previously served as president of VGM & Associates and VGM Fulfillment. “The HME (home medical equipment) industry is constantly evolving. With his decades of distribution and logistics experience, Pete is perfectly positioned to help take VGM Fulfillment and our entire industry into the future.”
VGM said Martin shares a commitment to building communities, in part due to his ties to the Midwest. For the past 20 years, Martin has called the Midwest home, and since 2014, he and his family have lived in the Cedar Valley, where VGM is headquartered. Martin, in his new role, looks forward to providing the service and support to the HME industry that VGM is known for.
“I am thrilled to have a chance to serve the HME industry as president of VGM Fulfillment,” Martin said. “HME providers and partners directly impact the quality of life of some of our nation’s most vulnerable patients. I’m honored to be able to do my part to help our providers serve their patients, and to ensure our industry realizes long-term success.”
