CLEVELAND & MOORESTOWN, New Jersey—AnewHealth, a national pharmacy care management provider, announced the retirement of CEO John Figueroa and the appointment of Brian Adams as its new CEO and president.
Upon retiring as CEO, Figueroa transitioned to the role of executive chairman of the board of directors. Figueroa plans to continue supporting the company in a strategic capacity. Adams, the company’s new president and CEO, has also joined the board of directors.
“Brian is an outstanding leader with a growth-oriented vision, a deep commitment to innovation and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional care to our patients,” Figueroa said. “He has provided executive leadership to AnewHealth through a critical time of growth and transformation, leading the organization to establish a strong presence in the market. Adams has led organization oversight since its establishment in 2023 with the merger of ExactCare and Tabula Rasa Healthcare. In 2011, Adams joined CareKinesis PACE pharmacy—now part of AnewHealth’s comprehensive suite of solutions. Adams has previously served as president of both AnewHealth and Tabula Rasa HealthCare. In his new role, Adams aims to lead the company in care optimization for those with complex, chronic medical needs, as well as improving outcomes for the health care organizations.
