CHARLOTTE, North Carolina—Caring.com, a senior living referral service and a site for care reviews, published the results of its 2025 Senior Mental Health Study. The study, based on a survey of more than 4,000 Americans aged 65 or older, found that one in three seniors have a clinical diagnosis of anxiety or depression.

HOUSTON—A 64-year-old man has been convicted of all counts as charged for leading a Medicare fraud scheme involving the submission of falsified medical records. The jury deliberated for less than two hours before convicting Paul Njoku following a three-day trial.

PRINCETON, New Jersey—Nearly half of the states in the U.S. (48%) are on the brink of an unpaid family caregiving emergency, according to findings released from a new study conducted by Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, sponsored by Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. (Otsuka). The study shows unpaid family caregiving is either “critical” or at “high risk” in 24 states.
