OWINGS MILLS, Md. (March 27, 2018) –The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) is a winner in this year’s prestigious Stevie Awards competition for Innovation in Customer Service. This award marks the organization’s eighth consecutive Stevie Award.
BOC’s Bronze Stevie Award for Innovation in Customer Service in the “New Product Development for Customer Demand” category recognizes the organization’s focus on new strategies and tactics to continuously improve its service to credentialing customers. “Innovation” is one of the company’s core values, and BOC actively seeks out new ideas, products and processes to assure customers have the latest tools to maintain a competitive edge and ensure patient safety. In BOC’s entry submission, the organization cited a new product launched in July 2017, Compounding Accreditation, created after BOC-accredited pharmacies began requesting this product.
In addition to Compounding Accreditation, BOC also meets customer demand through their unique Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist certification (CDME) by offering CDME workshops and exams at DME industry events. This initiative is expanding in 2018 with additional locations offered.
“I am proud to lead BOC’s growth in the field of healthcare credentialing to better- serve our customers and ensure patient safety,” says BOC President and CEO Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE. “Our commitment to innovation and our passion for exemplary customer service is the foundation for our work each and every day.”
