With more than 20 years of experience in health care marketing, digital technology, product development and community relations, Wells will be a key asset to the Cure leadership team and integral to the organization as it continues to expand its services in the global medical device and medical supply space.
As the president of Get Social Consulting, Wells previously advised on the development of numerous digital marketing programs and strategic marketing initiatives for HME providers, industry organizations and medical device manufacturers worldwide, including Abilities Expo, At Home Medical, the American Association for Homecare, BARD Medical, Bauerfeind, Cardinal Health at Home, Graham-Field, Melio, SIGVARIS and many more.
She is also the creator of several well-regarded social communities for wheelchair users, including Life After Spinal Cord Injury [LASCI] and Wheel:Life. In April 2016, Wells sold Wheel:Life to Comfort Medical. In November 2016, Comfort Medical and Wheel:Life were acquired by Coloplast for $160 million.
A frequent guest columnist and conference presenter, Wells is also the author of four books on marketing and disability topics, including Get Social: How to Use Social Media for Healthcare Marketing.
