WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 27, 2017)—The Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA), the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation (the Alliance), and ElevatingHOME are hosting the Public Policy and Financial Leadership Forum September 27–28 in Washington, DC. The Forum will bring together policymakers, thought leaders and the industry's top financial executives for a highly interactive two-day conference featuring discussion on the most pressing policy and financial issues facing home-based care today.

The public policy track will provide attendees with insight from senior leadership at the Department of Health and Human Services and members of Congress regarding their thoughts and goals for home-based health care. Participants will also receive a bicameral, bipartisan perspective from Hill staffers on major pieces of legislation impacting the home-based care sector.

The financial leadership track will have a strong focus on helping home health providers achieve financial success using alternative payment models. Presenters will define the advanced payment landscape, highlight the data that is essential in assisting organizations to successfully and strategically build strong processes around advanced payment models, and outline how to use the data to build collaborative relationships.

A joint partnership between VNAA and the Alliance, Home-Based Care Events promote innovation and excellence in home-based care. Together these organizations conduct conferences and forums, and lead the industry through advocacy and impacting policy.
