HARTFORD, Conn. (August 23, 2018)—CareCentrix announced that Leslie V. Norwalk has been elected to CareCentrix's board of directors. With health care experience spanning more than two decades, Norwalk will provide direction to help ensure CareCentrix's continued growth.
Prior to joining CareCentrix's board of directors, Norwalk served as acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) during the Bush administration. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Medicare, Medicaid, state Child Health Insurance Programs, survey and certification of health care facilities and all other federal health care initiatives.

Before serving as the acting administrator, Norwalk was CMS’s deputy administrator, where she oversaw the implementation of the hundreds of changes made under the Medicare Modernization Act, including the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit.
Norwalk works in the Washington, D.C. office of Epstein Becker Green, P.C. and serves as strategic counsel to Epstein Becker Green, P.C., EBG Advisors and National Health Advisor. She also serves as an advisor to three private equity firms and on the board of directors of NuVasive, Endologix, Providence Service Corp., Cedar Gate, Abode Healthcare, Med First, HPOne, Linkwell Health and healtheo360.
