Complex rehabilitation technology industry veterans John Letizia & Brad Peterson have joined the National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) board

EAST AMHERST, New York—The National Coalition for Rehab and Assistive Technology (NCART) welcomed two new board members. Brad Peterson and John Letizia have been elected to fill the two open board seats as a result of the company’s recent expansion. Both Letizia and Peterson are complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) industry veterans.

“We are very excited to have Brad and John join the board and offer their experience and guidance as we continue strengthening the organization to represent the complex rehab industry at the federal and state levels,” a company bulletin said.

Letizia is the president of Laurel Medical Solutions, a Pennsylvania-based provider business specializing in CRT, home modifications and orthotics/prosthetics. Letizia got his start in the industry through his father’s pharmacy, and has been with Laurel Medical Solutions since its founding in 1987. Additionally, Letizia serves on the boards for the American Association for Homecare; Reagan’s Journey, a pediatric medical equipment repurposing closet; and United Spinal’s south-central Pennsylvania chapter.

Peterson, vice president of sales at the wheelchair manufacturer Amylior, began his CRT career as a physical therapy assistant at a public health hospital in Massachusetts. He has worked for both provider businesses and manufacturers, having served in previous positions at Quantum Rehab, Motion Concepts and Invacare Corp.
