SPARTANBURG, SC (October 19, 2016)—In an effort to continuously create solutions that help pharmacies adapt to their ever-evolving operating environment, QS/1 is launching a new document management system, QDM. This resource was developed as a way to help pharmacies successfully manage documentation needs while enhancing patient and partner engagement.
The integration into QS/1’s NRx Pharmacy Management System creates an easier, more efficient way for community pharmacists to customize, use and automatically populate information on forms.
“QDM goes beyond traditional document management programs where you scan and save documents for future reference,” said Charles Adams, QS/1 Market Analyst. “QDM is a communication tool that can be used to assess patients, track therapeutic progress and improve outcomes.”
This level of efficiency helps pharmacies better serve patients and ensures forms are completed quickly and with the correct information. All documents are encrypted when stored on the QDM server, adding another layer of security and privacy.
“QDM will help pharmacies manage document workflow by allowing them to both create any number of document queues and automatically route documents,” Adams added. “We are excited to take document management to new heights.”
QDM can also be used for creating many documents, including, but not limited to, immunization, therapy management, patient outcome, patient assessment, patient transfer, prescription transfer, patient profile and medication synchronization forms.
