The national care provider will now offer services in Central & Western Texas

TEMPE, Arizona—SYNERGY HomeCare, a national homecare franchise, announced the opening of its two newest Texas locations, SYNERGY HomeCare of College Station and SYNERGY HomeCare of West El Paso. The companies aim to assist residents with non-medical homecare services, such as companion care, personal care and respite care.

The College Station location will be led by Cletus Udoh, who has more than 20 years of experience in Texan health care facilities. The El Paso office will be managed by Alejandro Armenta and Karla Saldivar, who both graduated from El Paso Community College with degrees in diagnostic medical sonography and have worked as traveling sonographers in health care facilities around the U.S.

Udoh gained master’s degrees in theology and counseling psychology, as well as a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Udoh went on to become a health care professional, working as the manager and director of hospital operations support and as a hospital chaplain for 20 years.

“Throughout my entire life, my goal has always been to enhance the quality of life for others and support their ability to live comfortably,” Udoh said. “I believe that’s only possible by building long-lasting relationships, through honesty, transparency and a commitment to doing everything to the best of my ability. I’ve treated each of my clients as a cherished family member, and now with SYNERGY HomeCare, I promise to continue providing each client with the compassion, empathy and respect they deserve.”

Armenta is a second-generation medical professional who has experience in sonography, where he has worked with a wide range of patients. After spending a few years caring for the people of El Paso, Armenta decided to work throughout the country as a traveling sonographer.

Saldivar said she was inspired to pursue the health care industry after her father passed away due to a lack of medical assistance. Saldivar said she wanted to prevent this from happening to other El Paso families by enrolling in a sonography program. After graduating in 2014, she spent time working in El Paso hospitals and clinics, before eventually becoming a traveling sonographer.

“Alejandro and I have experienced so much during our careers in health care, and I believe that it’s provided us with a strong understanding of the importance of being empathetic, patient and kind during tough times,” Saldivar said. “When someone comes to us for help, they’re typically in a very vulnerable position, which makes it incredibly important to be human, and help them and their family feel as comfortable as possible. Alejandro and I have both gone through difficult times when it comes to our families’ health, and we want others to know that we have their back whenever they experience the same.”
