FRANKLIN, Tennessee—Traditions Health announced its Lawrenceville, Georgia branch is now a Level Five Partner with We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). Traditions Health of Lawrenceville is one of only seven hospices in the state of Georgia to have earned Level Five status.
As a partner, Traditions Health of Lawrenceville provides a high level of specialized care to veterans facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Aside from existing Level One through Level Four partner requirements, Level Five partners demonstrate a commitment to staff education and training to care for Vietnam-era and combat veterans, which now comprise the largest group of veterans served on hospice care. The progression to this new level demonstrates a high standard of dedication to providing compassionate care that addresses the unique needs of veterans.
“This recognition demonstrates our deep commitment to honoring our veterans with the unwavering care and support they deserve," said Brian Lantier, CEO, Traditions Health. "We are truly privileged to care for and honor veterans and their families for the many sacrifices they have made for our country."
Established in 2010, the We Honor Veterans program addresses the growing need for veteran-centric hospice and palliative care. The Level Five distinction demonstrates exceptional commitment to addressing the specialized needs of veterans. Last year, Traditions Health cared for 1,902 veterans residing in 18 states across the country.
