WATERLOO, Iowa—VGM and Associates, a member service organization that includes durable medical equipment, wound care, home modifications, and orthotics and prosthetics providers, welcomed two new directors: Cindi Petito as director of clinical networks and Nikki Grace as director of the Orthotic Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA). In her new role, Petito aims to support the company’s U.S. Rehab and VGM Live at Home divisions and build a network of occupational therapists that allows VGM to increase member referrals. Grace seeks to support VGM’s OPGA community and advance the orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) profession for OPGA’s members and supplier partners.
“We are extremely excited for Cindi and Nikki to join VGM & Associates and expand our team of experts to strengthen the programs we offer to our members and the entire industry,” said Lindy Tentinger, president of VGM & Associates. “Both of these women have been such a force in their respective areas already, and as we stand on the cusp of a new horizon, VGM’s dedication to guiding the future and helping our members’ businesses thrive will undoubtedly flourish with Cindi Petito and Nikki Grace on our team.”
Petito has nearly three decades of health care experience, including work in complex rehab, being a certified home accessibility specialist and serving in home modification and accessibility. Additionally, she has more than 20 years of experience working with Medicare and Medicaid, commercial insurance companies and workers compensation programs.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this outstanding organization, support VGM's members and vendor partners, and the industries to which I have devoted my career,” Petito said. “I wholeheartedly believe in our vision for growth and the positive impact we will achieve together.”
Grace is an advocate for osseointegration education within the O&P field. In her previous role as director of North American operations for Osseointegration International, she aimed to support amputees worldwide. Additionally, Grace established the Central Illinois Amputees, a nonprofit organization that seeks to raise awareness, address the specific challenges faced by amputees in rural areas and bridge gaps in access to care.
“I am thrilled to join OPGA and honored to contribute to its legacy during such exciting times for the O&P profession,” Grace said. “With new technologies emerging and a new generation of clinicians entering the field, I am eager to support OPGA members by creating opportunities for access to care through education, business development and member services.”
