A software engineer by training, she found her calling in the early 2000s, designing and building software for healthcare providers. After a long stint at Epocrates (acquired by Athena), Kate built a small consulting firm to provide security, privacy and compliance advise and support to startups with a vision for how to improve lives through technology.

David Morrison has worked in the home health and hospice sector for more than 10 years. His background is in human resources and operations management, and he has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. At Universal Home Care, he drives continuous improvement to achieve regulatory compliance, increased employee engagement, and high levels of efficiency and performance for the growing healthcare organization.

Steve Vlok is the founder and CEO of Celo. He is a process engineer who became aware of the major communication problems in healthcare through his wife, Jess, who is a doctor, and together they founded Celo. They identified the need for a more efficient and HIPAA-compliant communication platform to create a more connected health care system, ensuring ease of use all while being underpinned by world-class security and compliance.
