OKLAHOMA CITY — Graymark
Healthcare
has acquired somniCare and somniTech from Avastra USA, a
division of Avastra Sleep Centres Limited. The Somni companies,
based in Overland Park, Kan., operate sleep disorder testing and
treatment centers in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota
and Minnesota. Steven Hull, MD, will continue as president of
Somni, and the companies will continue to operate under the
somniCare and somniTech names.

Graymark is a diversified medical holdling company that owns and
operates diagnostic sleep centers, independent pharmacies and a
durable medical equipment company. "Somni's regional presence
complements our Sleep Disorder Centers' existing geographic
markets, expending our growing national footprint of best-in-class
sleep centers," Stanton Nelson, Graymark CEO, said in a
release.
