Louis Feuer has joined The VGM Group as educational adviser. Feuer will work with Sara Bauer, VGM director of education, to provide sales and marketing information to VGM group members; serve as curriculum adviser to VGM U, the group's online HME university; and offer a new program called “HME Express Orientation,” a four-module course for newcomers to the industry. Feuer, a monthly columnist for HomeCare, will continue to operate his Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based business, Dynamic Seminars & Consulting Inc.
Aaron J. Kozloski has joined the Greenville, S.C.-based Health Law Center as senior counsel, and will run the firm's new offices in Columbia, S.C. Kozloski was most recently general counsel and chief lobbyist for the South Carolina Medical Association and previously has served as administrator for the South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners.
Chip Ross has joined Byram Healthcare, Milford, Conn., as senior vice president of sales. Ross was previously executive director of sales at ConvaTec, a Bristol-Myers Squibb company, and vice president of national account sales with Medline Industries. Ross will have responsibility for Byram's chronic care, home health and managed care sales organizations.
Len Serafino has joined CHAD Therapeutics Inc., Chatsworth, Calif., as regional vice president of sales. He will be responsible for managing CHAD's sales program in the eastern United States and for the company's sales of sleep disorder products currently under development. Serafino was most recently vice president of purchasing at American HomePatient and is author of a recently released book called Sales Talk.
American HomePatient has appointed W. Wayne Woody to its board of directors to hold the role of audit committee financial expert. Headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., American HomePatient has 288 centers in 35 states.
