Industry veterans Craig Rotenberry, Michael Eddy and Richard Kreider announced the formation of a partnership and the acquisition of Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Association's HME business. The new entity will be known as First Choice Home Medical Equipment.

The 50-employee company, with locations in Newark and Milford, Del., will serve Delaware and neighboring counties in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with a full line of HME and respiratory products and services.

Rotenberry, who will serve as president of the new company, has held management positions with Happy Harry's Home Health Care and Youngs Medical Services, and was most recently director of HME for Christiana Care Health Systems.

Eddy, branch manager for First Choice, has served as the Delaware State American Association for Respiratory Care president, and Kreider, former president and owner of Delcrest Medical Products, Warminster, Pa., has served as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Medical Suppliers.
