Ultra Care has purchased the home respiratory, infusion therapy and durable medical equipment divisions of CareMed Chicago, a not-for-profit affiliate of the University of Chicago Hospitals and Health System.
“The transaction represents an important step in our planned growth,” said Bruce H. Callahan, Ultra Care's president and CEO, adding that the acquisition will increase the company's annual gross revenue by more than 45 percent and increase its market share in the Chicago region.
