Walgreens Health Initiatives, through Walgreens Home Care, has acquired selected assets from the owners of Pinnacle Home Care, a home infusion business in San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas.
“In addition to our comprehensive home care facility in Houston, this acquisition expands Walgreens Health Initiatives' regional presence in Texas,” said Ron Allen, vice president of WHI's home care division. “These new facilities initially will offer infusion services, and plans are in the works to introduce respiratory services and home medical equipment.”
The company currently operates accredited home care facilities in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Texas and Wisconsin.
