ASHEVILLE, N.C. (September 10, 2019) Aeroflow Healthcare, announced that its urology division will donate more than 1250 cases of diapers to support families living in Buncombe County, North Carolina.

Aeroflow, which is headquartered in Buncombe County, will donate the diapers to Buncombe County Health & Human Services to be distributed among local families in need of supplies for their children.

"Having access to diapers is critically important in the day-to-day lives of families with young children. But the high cost involved can create a real strain, especially to low-income families," said Mica Phillips, Director of Aeroflow Urology. “We are honored to be able to help, even if in a small way, to help narrow the diaper divide in Buncombe County.”

According to a survey by Huggies in partnership with the National Diaper Bank Network, one in three families in the United States struggle with ‘diaper need’, or difficulty supplying enough diapers to keep a child clean, dry and healthy. Aeroflow remains dedicated to providing support and resources to families in their community and beyond.

“We can’t think of a better way to use these extra products than to donate them to families in need, especially those who are our neighbors in this tight-knit community,” said Phillips. “It is our hope that these supplies make a difference for local parents with young children.”
