LOS ANGELES (August 05, 2015)—The executive team at Dynamic Healthcare Software Inc. has released MD Connect service for bflow DME billing software, allowing physician offices to enter a patient’s demographics and create an order for the patient directly into a DME’s bflow billing portal. This new feature allows DMEs and their referral sources to work closely together to expedite the delivery of a patient’s equipment and supplies.
The new service ties the referring provider directly into the DME’s workflow, allowing the provider to attach medical necessity documentation, patient ID cards, verify eligibility and same and similar, all from the bflow portal. MD Connect service restricts the physician to seeing only the patients and orders they create, protecting the DME’s claims, HIPAA data, transactions and financial information.
“We are excited to break down the barriers between referral sources and DMEs by allowing them to work closely together to reduce the time it takes to develop a compliant and billable order,” says bflow CEO Ted Jones.
Once the order is entered into bflow by the physician’s staff, the DME’s processing team is alerted via the internal claims workflow service, prompting the DME to begin reviewing the order and attached documentation for compliance.
The bflow team has two regional DME operations using MD Connect with 75 local physicians. The goal of the new service is to cut time from order receipt to delivery, ultimately increasing cash flow by reducing the time it takes to process an order and receive the required documentation for billing compliance.
