LONDON—EFOLDi, a designer and manufacturer of mobility scooters and wheelchairs, is set to make its debut at the Abilities Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to present its travel-friendly mobility solutions. The expo, which will be held at Broward County Convention Center, will take place Friday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 20.
At this year’s expo, the eFOLDi team plans to demonstrate the company’s latest products to consumers and trade partners. Specifically, the company will highlight its portable “Lite” travel scooter, which has a total weight as low as 31 pounds without its battery. The scooter, which is company’s latest, offers user ease of storage, use and transportation in cars, buses, trains and on planes.
“Our goal is to make travel accessible by helping less-abled individuals regain their freedom and independence,” said Tim Ross, national sales manager at eFOLDi. “We look forward to welcoming both consumers and trade partners to our booth, where they can experience firsthand the latest offerings from our award-winning range of lightweight, folding scooters and powered wheelchairs.”
Launched in 1979, the Abilities Expo has become a large national event for manufacturers, distributors and service providers looking to showcase their products and services directly to end-users and health care providers. The expo provides access to recent developments in adaptive products, new technologies and services, designed to promote independence for people with mobility impairments.
