IntellaTriage, the nation’s leading provider of after-hours nurse-first triage solutions, has announced the promotion of Gio Pagano to senior vice president of Sales.

BRENTWOOD, Tennesse—IntellaTriage, a provider of after-hours nurse triage for hospice and home health providers, hospitals, physician groups, health plans and specialty practices, announced the promotion of top sales performer Gio Pagano to senior vice president. Tasked with bringing on new clients and expanding the IntellaTriage impact on the market, IntellaTriage said Pagano exceeded expectations and will continue developing that reach with a growing sales team.

Since joining IntellaTriage in April 2021, Pagano has served as vice president of sales. He provided leadership and resource stewardship to the overall sales function at the company, expanding operations and support for hospice and home health providers across the country. Pagano's contributions have tripled company revenue over the past two years. He has exceeded sales goals in both years by a significant margin and has partnered with multiple national clients, a first in the company's history.

"When Gio joined IntellaTriage, he was tasked with the goal of bringing on new customers so we could expand the impact we were having in our markets," said Daniel Reese, CEO. "Since Gio joined our team, not only has he accomplished that goal, but he has exceeded all my wildest expectations regarding the type of customers, the number of new clients and the expanded reach he has brought to our team. I look forward to Gio's contributions in his new position where he will build and lead a team of experienced sales professionals."

Pagano brought a proven track record of growth and performance in the post-acute industry and deep industry knowledge and strategic expertise. Of his nearly 20 years in the post-acute industry, 15 have been focused on home health and hospice. He built extensive relationships with key stakeholders during his previous tenure at Quality In Real Time and McBee Associates and continues to do so in his role at IntellaTriage.

"I could not have achieved this growth without all our wonderful team members taking the calls, building schedules, training new nurses, etc," Pagano said. "The impact of IntellaTriage will continue to grow as we expand our teams across the company and strengthen our relationships across the industry. The greatest motivation comes from knowing that my success contributes to IntellaTriage's success, and we are all working hard to improve the lives of nurses and patients in the home health and hospice sectors."

Recent studies have indicated that turnover rates for hospice and home health nurses range from 20% to 35% annually, influenced by workload, job satisfaction, work-life balance, burnout and organizational culture. With the largest network of remote registered nurses in the post-acute care segment, IntellaTriage aims alleviates the burden on clinicians on the front lines, reducing nurse burnout and turnover by providing best-in-class care when patients need it. IntellaTriage said Pagano's elevation to SVP will further increase its impact on the market and drive support for providers struggling to decrease turnover and improve patient and nurse satisfaction.
