The awards were announced in recognition of National Homecare & Hospice Month

NEW YORK—HHAeXchange, a homecare management solutions company, and state Medicaid programs, have announced this year’s “Caregiving Champions” award winners, in celebration of National Homecare and Hospice Month. Each year, the award seeks to recognize 10 caregivers across the United States who are nominated by their respective homecare agencies for their service, commitment and integrity.

The company said it received more than 270 nominations this year. The award nominations contained descriptions of homecare workers who excelled for their clients.

The following caregivers were selected as Caregiving Champions:

"Caregivers’ efforts help people lead happier, healthier and more independent lives, and we are honored to support them,” said Paul Joiner, CEO of HHAeXchange. “We are grateful for this opportunity to showcase the transformative work caregivers do, which has reaffirmed our belief in the incredible impact they have on the lives they touch."

The company said each Caregiving Champion award winner will receive a new iPad and an engraved award, which seek to commemorate their contributions to home- and community-based services. In addition, the 10 honorees and their agencies will be recognized via social media throughout the month.
