LAS VEGAS (Jan. 30, 2015)—The New Product Pavilion, sponsored by HomeCare magazine, will be back to its original format during Medtrade Spring, which is scheduled for March 30-April 1 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. As the most popular destination at the Medtrade Spring show floor, the New Product Pavilion is where more than 90 percent of attendees will visit.
The widespread attendance can be traced back to attendees #1 stated goal (as tabulated by surveys) to find new products. Attendees will vote on their favorite new product and three winners will be crowned. Interested exhibitors should let their account executive know if they’re interested in signing up. Visit New Product Pavilion Policies & Procedures for more information.
New Ideas in Retail Area Designed to Spark Creativity
Exhibitors will be using the new Ideas in Retail area to promote products (new and familiar) that are well suited for retail sale, and to educate attendees on ideas to help their retail programs soar. The Ideas in Retail area will focus on Point-of-Purchase displays (pre-stocked with product), as well as techniques for building and creating custom displays for house brands or small spaces.
Innovative HME Retail Product Awards
The biannual Innovative HME Retail Product Awards, sponsored by HomeCare magazine, will also make their return to Medtrade Spring, but this time there is a new twist.
“In an effort to make the awards even more exciting, attendees at The Best New Retail/Cash Opportunities will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the best retail products,” say Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “Ten finalists will be selected by our judges to compete at the show—during the session. After the session, votes from attendees and judges will be tabulated. Three winners will be crowned and announced on April 1.”
The retail panel discussion, The Best New Retail/Cash Opportunities with moderator Jim Greatorex, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. During the panel discussion, reps from 10 finalist companies will get a chance to present their products and answer questions from judges and attendees.
