nVoq aims to accelerate HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation across multiple platforms

BOULDER, Colorado—nVoq Inc., a transformative technology and AI-enabled voice-to-text solutions company serving in-home health care agencies, announced its launch of the nVoq Mobile Voice for iOS. The application provides caregivers with a purpose-built solution to transform documentation, an essential part of clinical practice. By leveraging the application’s HIPAA-compliant voice recognition technologies, health care professionals can increase documentation efficiency and accuracy while improving patient care quality.

nVoq partners with in-home health care electronic health records (EHR) and facilitates an average of 300,000 daily dictations. By enabling clinicians with voice documentation at the point of care, the level of detail increases by up to 30%, a recent study found. Voice documentation can reduce the risk of incomplete or noncompliant documentation, both of which result in payment reversals or insurance denials.

Multiple agencies across home health care, hospice and palliative care use nVoq's solutions on Windows, Android and now iOS devices, the company said.

"Now, we support the wide variety of mobile devices being used by clinicians caring for patients in their homes, all through an application that is specifically built for the unique operational and financial needs of our industry," said Dawn Iddings, chief revenue officer of nVoq. "This is just the beginning of the transformative enhancements nVoq will be unveiling over the next six months."

"We are committed to reducing the mental burden and administrative complexity of documentation for our users, no matter what devices are used throughout each agency," said Chris Corsetti, principal platform strategist at nVoq. "Our technology is designed to enable everyone to focus on what's truly most important—providing the best possible patient care."
