CLEVELAND, Ohio (July 2, 2021)–OxyGo LLC, a provider of lightweight portable oxygen equipment, is celebrating helping more than 1 million lives. OxyGo will host a series of exciting events throughout the year to share with its providers and employees this impressive milestone and the challenges it took to reach this point, while looking forward to future opportunities.
At the kickoff luncheon, Tom Gill, president of Urban Community School (UCS) in Cleveland, Ohio, spoke about the challenges faced as a diverse school that serves families living in economic distress, the decision to stay open during the pandemic and the importance of touching lives for the better. UCS serves the Cleveland community through not only its excellent education, but also by offering food and healthcare onsite for its students and their families.
“Our mission at OxyGo is to Keep Going. We keep our providers going with proactive oxygen solutions, we keep our team going with educational and interesting career opportunities, and we keep our community going by giving back. We value education and the growth mindset that there is nothing we can’t do if we set our minds to it,” said V.E. Marquard-Schultz, CEO of OxyGo. “UCS makes a huge difference in the lives of the community. During this pandemic year, they really showed us what it meant to ‘Keep Going.'”
OxyGo celebrated these amazing milestones by presenting a donation to the school of $25,000 to help the school, children, and families where they may need it most. You can learn more about UCS here: www.urbancommunityschool.org/
