With the app, users can control their VivaLift! power recliners straight from their phones

DURYEA, Pennsylvania—Pride Mobility took things digital this month with the launch of its new My VivaLift app, which allows users to control their VivaLift! power recliners from their smartphones. Pride said the app was designed to make it easier for users to find the optimal resting position or adjust the chair to their liking and offers a convenient alternative to using the hand control.

To download and use the app, users simply download the app and enable Bluetooth capability on their preferred device. Within seconds on the app, they can search for their chair and connect to it, obtaining access to all its functionalities. Users can also share access with family and friends.

The app contains the same functions as the hand control, as well as heat (Ultra and Radiance collections) and massage (Ultra) sliders. Users can lay flat or reach a standing position with just one button, and the app allows up to five memory positions to be saved.

Features include:

  • Access to VivaLift! recliner functionality through cell phone or tablet
  • Ability to share functionality access with others who have the app
  • Up to five memory positions can be saved
  • Lay flat or reach a standing position with just one button
  • Customizable theme, font size, and notification preferences
  • Chair operates seamlessly with hand control or app

Additionally, Pride created a series of tutorial videos for consumers and providers to learn more about the app's functionality and how to use it, which can be viewed here.
