EXETER, Penn. (May 28, 2015)—Quantum Rehab announces the launch of its new website dedicated to Quantum’s iLevel power seat elevation technology.

Inspired by quality-of-life benefits for clients, the iLevel website offers clients, clinicians and providers extensive insights into how iLevel seat elevation technology improves the health, safety, functionality and independence of power wheelchair users. Through interactive media, the website demonstrates in-depth examples of how Quantum’s iLevel technology empowers users’ lives by allowing them to remain mobile at eye-level, standing height while operating the power wheelchair at walking speed.

iLevel is an integrated power seating system that elevates up to 10 inches, while simultaneously stabilizing the power wheelchair via advanced electronics and suspension, allowing full elevated functionality at speeds up to 3 mph.

“When iLevel went through beta testing and subsequent full-time use, clients told us of so many aspects of their lives that it enhanced, so we knew it went beyond previous seat lifts toward dramatically improving quality of life,” says Megan Kutch, M.S. O.T.R., director of marketing, Quantum. “We realized through the users’ eyes the life-changing characteristics of iLevel, and sought a website and content that conveys the extraordinary impact. Users show us that iLevel isn’t just a technology, but also a vital complex rehab solution toward daily functionality and quality of lifeand the dedicated website reflects their experiences.”

The iLevel website also serves as a much-needed educational resource. “There have been misconceptions regarding ‘seat lifts’ in the past, from clinical benefits to funding,” explains Julie Piriano, P.T., ATP/SMS, director of rehab industry affairs, Quantum. “Therefore, we wanted the iLevel website to serve as an educational and advocacy tool when it comes to power-adjustable seat height and its essential benefits in users’ lives.”

iLevel is available exclusively on the new Q6 Edge 2.0 power chair. The Q6 Edge 2.0, with its single-stage drive train and redesigned caster arms for enhanced performance, accepts iLevel technology at the time of order or is easily retrofitted at a later date.
