SPARTANBURG, South Carolina—NationsBenefits, a supplemental benefits and health care financial technology solutions company, announced its partnership with pharmacy software compay RedSail Technologies. This partnership aims to enable Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members to use their NationsBenefits “benefits Mastercard prepaid” card at more than 6,000 independent pharmacies nationwide, offering access to approved pharmacy, wellness and over-the-counter (OTC) products for members.
The NationsBenefits card program intends to provide health plan members with easy access to funds that are distributed monthly, quarterly or annually in order to purchase eligible items and approved services. This initiative is part of NationsBenefits' goal of empowering members to make healthier choices and drive better health outcomes.

Health plan members can use their NationsBenefits card to purchase approved pharmacy and wellness essentials and over-the-counter items at PioneerRx-affiliated pharmacies.
