NORRISTOWN, Pennsylvania—River Oaks Home Care, a senior homecare service provider, has been awarded ninth place on the “Philadelphia100” list, in recognition of the company’s growth in the senior care industry. The award was announced during the Philadelphia100 awards dinner ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 17.
“Receiving this award is such a humbling experience,” said Bolanle Akingbade, co-founder of River Oaks. “It reflects the commitment we’ve made to not only growing our business but also to ensuring that the care we provide is rooted in kindness and respect. Every client we serve is like family to us, and that’s the standard we’ve set at River Oaks.”
River Oaks has spent nearly a decade providing homecare services to seniors. The company aims to help seniors and those with disabilities experience life to the fullest, healthily and with dignity. Additionally, the company said its services aim to consistently put the seniors’ interests first.
The Philadelphia100, founded in 1988 by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia and the Wharton Small Business Development Center, recognizes emerging companies from the Philadelphia area. The program aims to award companies that are among the fastest-growing and/or privately-held companies in their industry.
“This has always been a project rooted in deep care and respect for seniors, and a hope of providing them the best they can get in-home care,” Akingbade said. “Being named to the ‘Philly100’ is an honor and a reminder of our mission as an organization.”
