MADISON, Wis. (January 30, 2019)—ROWHEELS, a developer of manual mobility technology, announced that it has been selected to appear on the Project Pitch It TV show where entrepreneurs demonstrate their game-changing innovations and vie for weekly awards valued at a total of $30,000.
The Shark Tank-style TV show will start its third season Saturday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. on WISN-TV Channel 12 in Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin.
“ROWHEELS is thrilled to be appearing on Project Pitch It season 3. All the companies selected to appear are outstanding, and we are honored to have been chosen,” said Gaurav Mishra, chief executive at ROWHEELS.
Those featured on Project Pitch It will pitch their startups to business experts Peggy Ann, the founder of concierge move management company LifeMoves; Jerry Jendusa, co-founder of consulting firm Stuck LLC; attorney David Gruber of Gruber Law Offices LLC; and former Nevada Corp. president Deborah Allen.
ROWHEELS has developed a patented wheelchair technology that allows wheelchair users to pull rather than push when they want to go forward. This new approach helps prevent repetitive stress injuries of the shoulder and helps reduce the pain and discomfort that may be associated with traditional wheelchairs.
ROWHEELS products will be made available to users directly via the company’s e-commerce platform, removing the delays users currently face in receiving their wheelchair and avoiding the high margins associated with the conventional reimbursement model.
