Multiple entrepreneurs with diverse backgrounds aim to expand access to personalized in-home care across the U.S.

TEMPE, Arizona—SYNERGY HomeCare, a non-medical, in-home services franchise, announced its five newest franchise locations in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Oregon. The new locations will assist community residents with non-medical homecare options, such as companion care, personal care and respite care.

The new North Carolina location, SYNERGY HomeCare of Kinston, is led by Adam and Claire Sugg. Adam brings years of finance experience to the team, while Claire has a background in art consulting.

“Our focus is to establish a foundation of management and company culture that encourages our caregivers and ultimately provides exceptional service to our clients, so they can be comfortable and well cared for at home,” Adam said.

One of two new locations in Florida, SYNERGY HomeCare of Winter Garden, is managed by Aneera Shirazee, who has more than 17 years of experience in health care administration and compliance.

Also in Florida, SYNERGY HomeCare of South Sarasota is owned and operated by Richard and Yesenia Lawler. Richard served as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer for nine years and later took on a civilian role as head of logistics for an international company. Yesenia has experience in high school Spanish teaching.

“We both know what it’s like to live with family members who need long-term care," said Yesenia. “We also know how much exhaustion comes from being a primary caregiver for your loved ones. At SYNERGY HomeCare of South Sarasota, we will be there to give you the respite you need while ensuring that your loved one is well cared for.”

The new Georgia location, SYNERGY HomeCare of Fayetteville, is supervised by Nigel and Michele Gauntlett who both have an extensive background in caring for people with disabilities and have previously owned and operated their own agency.

“We have seen firsthand how impactful compassionate care is and how it has improved lives in ways our clients have never expected,” said Nigel. “Whether your loved one needs a little bit of help or a lot, we will always be there to provide the compassionate and attentive care your loved ones deserve.”

In Oregon, SYNERGY HomeCare of Salem is owned and operated by Jennifer Giese and Viki Fort. The Gieses have more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry, most recently as an operations manager for an in-home care agency. Fort previously worked at the same agency, where their partnership helped the business take off and allowed for the opportunity to open their own company.
