TEMPE, Arizona—SYNERGY HomeCare, a national homecare franchise announced its newest franchise located in Burlington County, New Jersey, SYNERGY HomeCare of Mt. Laurel.
The company is led by Chika Ezeugwu, a Penn State graduate who is focused on bringing quality care to his local aging community.
Headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey at 309 Fellowship Road, East Gate Suite 200, the company assists residents of Mt. Laurel, Marlton, Medford and surrounding areas with a wide variety of nonmedical in-home care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.
Ezeugwu saw a growing need for these services, particularly among baby boomers. U.S. Census statistics show 10,000 baby boomers are turning 65 every day and by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over 65. According to AARP, more than 80% of this demographic reports wanting to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
SYNERGY said Ezeugwu combines his professional expertise with a personal commitment to helping others. After caring for his mother, Ezeugwu gained a firsthand understanding of how vital quality homecare is for families, sparking a desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors and those in need. He earned a postgraduate degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University, trained as a Six Sigma Green Belt and has a strong background in system and process improvement from his career in the auto industry.
Ezeguwu said his ability to identify challenges, address root causes and create meaningful solutions now fuels his mission to enhance the lives of seniors in his community. Now as the owner of a homecare company, he is hyper-focused on delivering care that makes a difference, ensuring seniors can live with dignity, comfort and joy.
“At SYNERGY HomeCare of Mt. Laurel, our motto, ‘Be the best you can be,’ drives everything we do," said Ezeugwu. "We are committed to providing high-quality homecare that empowers our clients to live fulfilling, independent lives. By building strong partnerships with local organizations, we’re able to offer more options that promote healthy aging and overall well-being.”
Mt. Laurel and surrounding areas are home to a large population of seniors and medical facilities, Ezeugwu said. Many members of this population need to rely on caregivers for additional assistance cooking, shopping, running errands, doing light housekeeping or going for walks. Some also require personal care, such as help with bathing or dressing.
“Excellence and timeliness are at the heart of our services,” said Ezeugwu. "We’re dedicated to finding caregivers who embody kindness, patience, professionalism and emotional support, ensuring our clients receive the compassionate care they need to thrive.”
SYNERGY HomeCare of Mt. Laurel is looking to add to its team of diverse caregivers. While licensed certified nursing assistants (CNAs) are ideal candidates, Ezeugwu will provide training and certification to anyone looking to enter the field of caregiving.
