PHILADELPHIA (November 18, 2022)—Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), the owner of Manatee Healthcare System, which offers an integrated system of care for more than 400,000 people in Bradenton, Florida, and BAYADA Home Health Care, a not-for-profit home health care provider, have launched Manatee Health at Home by BAYADA, a joint venture partnership that will further expand integrated care delivery network capabilities into patient homes.
Manatee Health at Home by BAYADA leverages the combined resources and expertise of UHS, Manatee Healthcare and BAYADA to strengthen the post-acute continuum of care to meet the increasing demand for in-home services, particularly among the aging population. It will help patients of Manatee Healthcare and other providers manage chronic conditions or recover from recent surgery, illness, or injury in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
Manatee Healthcare comprises Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Diagnostic Center, Lakewood Ranch Medical Group and Manatee Physician Alliance.

The joint venture, which is now accepting new patients, is the second in a strategic partnership between BAYADA and UHS to significantly expand UHS systems’ healthcare services and offerings, bringing more care to more patients along the full care continuum.
