WATERLOO, Iowa (November 4, 2019)—VGM is now accepting proposals from prospective speakers for its annual Heartland Conference.
With eight education tracks to fill, conference organizers are looking for presenters to offer their expertise on a variety of topics, including business leadership and management, retail, sleep and respiratory, rehab, operations, sales and marketing, home accessibility, technology and regulatory.
“We are so excited to announce our call for speakers. Heartland’s education program is like no other, and the role our speakers play is instrumental to ensuring attendees leave each session equipped to grow professionally while earning CEUs,” said Heartland Education Chair, Jill Blaser. “When a speaker shares their best practices, their experience and their know-how, we make everyone in our industry stronger, which is exactly what Heartland is about.”
The 2020 conference takes place June 15-17 in Waterloo, Iowa, corporate headquarters of VGM Group, Inc. Attendees include HME and homecare industry experts as well as health care professionals working in a wide variety of roles and with all levels of experience.
Presenters come from all over the country and, like many of the conference attendees, they often return for the unique opportunity to connect with peers and manufacturers and experience hospitality from VGM’s employees.
VGM’s two-day conference not only provides presenters the opportunity to share their expertise but also to attend networking and social events. According to Blaser, presenting at Heartland is an effective way to increase visibility.
“For presenters, the Heartland Conference isn’t short on opportunity,” said Blaser. “It’s the perfect place to have one-on-one time with members and vendors, other presenters and, of course, everyone at VGM. Presenters are in the unique position to introduce, or reintroduce, themselves to the HME community and leave an outstanding impression.”
Speaker proposals for Heartland Conference are due Dec. 16. Those interested should visit vgmheartland.com/speak to complete the online form, or contact Jill Blaser via email at jill.blaser@vgm.com or call (855) 755-6922.
