WATERLOO, Iowa (October 30, 2019)—VGM Respiratory has announced the release of two new resources: the Sleep Program Guide and the Home Ventilation Management Program manual. The guides were developed to help those interested in expanding into the sleep or ventilation markets decide if it’s right for their business. These resources can also be used by industry professionals who aim to improve their operational efficiency.
Inside the Sleep Program Guide, readers will find points to consider before starting a sleep program, tips on how to develop and maintain a program and a variety of resources and vendors to help them along the way. The Home Ventilation Management Program manual features procedure templates, reimbursement information, tracheostomy guide and other helpful information.
“We are excited to offer VGM Respiratory members these new resources,” said David Lyman, vice president of VGM Respiratory. “We look forward to developing future program guides, used in conjunction with our VGM Respiratory Resource Center, to help our members continue to grow and improve their businesses.”
Inspiration for these resources was derived from the potential each market offers and the complex challenges each presents.
“Sleep apnea affects an estimated 22 million Americans, with 80% of the cases of moderate and severe obstructive sleep apnea undiagnosed,” Lyman stated. “These comprehensive guides are designed to be not only a starting guide for those entering the market, but also a tool to help experienced professionals save valuable resources so they can spend more time focusing on what really matters—their patients.”
Both guides are available now available to VGM Respiratory members. To learn more about the Sleep Program Guide and the Home Ventilation Management Program manual, contact Ashley Monroe at Ashley.Monroe@vgm.com.
