The announcement was made during the Women and Wine event at VGM’s annual Heartland Conference. The session included a presentation on how to apply Sheryl Sandberg's "Lean In" concepts into everyday lives. Following a moderated discussion on work-life balance, a video promoting the HME Woman of the Year award was shown to nearly 100 women in attendance.

(June 14, 2017)—AAHomecare received word Monday that the Congressional sign-on letter on HME priority issues “closed” with commitments from 153 members of the House of Representatives. Per the usual procedure with these sign-on letters, Hill staffers are now taking the letter to each of these offices to get an actual signature on the letter.

In 2015 they opened a second location in Syracuse after 73 years of doing business based in Rome, NY. The new patients will be serviced out of both the Syracuse and Rome locations depending on their home zip code.
