DUBLIN, Ohio—Cardinal Health (CAH) announced the opening of a new distribution center in Greenville, South Carolina, which will focus on its at-Home Solutions business. The new distribution center is expected to add roughly 200 jobs to the region over time. CAH at-Home Solutions provides home health care medical supplies and helps customers across the nation manage their medical supply needs, including those who have chronic or critical medical conditions.
CARY, North Carolina—The Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) has launched two new specialty credentials: the distinction in age-friendly care for home health and hospice, and the distinction in outcomes for home health. Pennant previously announced its agreement to purchase the Signature assets, with the planned closing of Signature’s Washington and Idaho assets on Aug. 1, 2024. A second purchase agreement of Signature’s Oregon business is intended to close on Jan. 1, 2025.

NASHVILLE, Tennessee—In December 2023, Brookdale Senior Living sold its remaining 20% equity interest in its Health Care Services unconsolidated venture and received aggregate proceeds of approximately $27 million in connection with the transaction.
