The company’s partnership in Medtrade will continue through 2031

ARLINGTON, Virginia—The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), a nonprofit organization advocating for home medical equipment (HME) services and supplies policies, and Emerald, a dynamic market platform builder, agreed to extend their partnership in Medtrade through the 2031 show. The extension aims to add strength and certainty to their collaboration, as well as to grow the show and deliver more value to attendees and exhibitors.

Medtrade, an HME trade show and conference in the U.S., features a large expo floor filled with the HME manufacturers, HME technology and personal health products.

“A vital and strongly-attended trade show is critical to the health and success of the HME sector,” said Tom Ryan, president and chief executive officer of AAHomecare. “Medtrade delivers unmatched educational and networking opportunities and showcases products and services in a way that a website listing or brochure just can’t match. Our team really values being heavily involved in Medtrade’s Educational Advisory Board and presenting in numerous sessions every year. We’re also excited to be a part of innovations like the new stage for presentations on the show floor that debuted last year.”

“Emerald is happy to continue working with AAHomecare in an effort to grow Medtrade and extend our partnership into 2025,” said Kerry Tyler, associate show director for Medtrade. “AAHomecare’s advocacy efforts help HME providers and the patients they serve. Working together, we can elevate the industry from multiple angles—business, advocacy and patient care."

Medtrade 2025 will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18 through Thursday, Feb. 20 in Dallas, Texas. AAHomecare will be holding the Stand Up for Homecare networking and fundraising reception on Wednesday, Feb. 19. More information about Medtrade 2025 can be found here.
