Mayne joins AccentCare from Optum where he was most recently president of its California care delivery unit

DALLAS—AccentCare (the company), a provider of post-acute health care, announced the appointment of Chris Mayne as president of Home Health.

“Chris’ extensive experience in multi-site operations coupled with his decades-long focus on improving the lives of patients makes him the ideal person to lead our home health business,” said Laura Tortorella, chief executive officer of AccentCare. “He’s a respected leader who knows how to drive growth and nurture and develop teams. I’m thrilled to have him on board.”

Mayne joins AccentCare from Optum where he was most recently president of its California care delivery unit. His prior roles at Optum California include chief administrative officer and chief operating officer. Prior to joining Optum, he spent 10 years with DaVita, a provider of kidney care as senior vice president of operations. In this newly created role at AccentCare, he will report directly to Tortorella and will join the executive leadership team. He will be responsible for operations and growth of the Home Health business.

“AccentCare’s patient-centric focus and dynamic team is what drew me to join,” said Mayne. “Having spent my career focused on outpatient services, I’m excited to partner across the organization to propel AccentCare to even faster growth to help improve the lives of patients and their families.”

Mayne received both his bachelor's of business administration and his master of business administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

AccentCare provides post-acute care services, including home health, hospice, and palliative care, in more than 250 locations across 32 states.
