AKRON, Ohio—ACU-Serve, a health care revenue cycle optimization company, announced the appointment of Sidney Simmons III as its new executive VP of sales. In this new role, Simmons aims to oversee the company’s sales team and expand sales operations.

Simmons holds an MBA degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University. Simmons has a background in software development and leadership roles in sales and operations. Over the last four years, he served as VP of Sales at The Corridor Group, where he helped drive growth toward an acquisition of the business by WellSky, a community care technology and services business. Simmons seeks to bring a strategic mindset, a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to maintaining the company’s sales approach, while aiming to implement enhancements that align with the company’s long-term goals.
