PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pennsylvania—AdaptHealth Corporation (AHCO), a patient-centered, home health solutions provider, appointed Scott Barnhart as the new chief operating officer, effective Sept. 23.
Barnhart has more than 30 years of experience in global operations leadership, including supply chain management, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service and product portfolio management. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer of Qurate Retail Group, where he managed operations and productivity improvements.
Barnhart previously held senior executive positions at several industries, including president of global medical products and supply chain at Cardinal Health, in which he developed a supply chain transformation strategy to improve productivity, innovation, quality and customer experience.
